Lennon

"Deciding to add a dog to our family was a huge decision and one we are so glad we took. Lennon is loving, cheeky, mischievous, and super intelligent in equal measure!
Mike and Susan are passionate Cockapoo owners and took the time to ensure we were the right fit and could provide a loving home for one of Caramel’s puppies. He settled with us quickly, loves to be with us but also loves his own space knowing that we are never too far away!"

Alfie

"We had an excellent experience in buying our first puppy from Mike and Susan. Alfie has brought such joy to our home, and I am sure that part of this is due to his start in life."
Mike says - Alfie is a real ham for the camera and he has taken well to agility training, which will keep his owners young as they settle into retirement and share him with their grandchildren.

Rolo

"Rolo’s temperament reflects the care Mike and Susan put into breeding and socialising him early. He’s non-reactive with other dogs, calm in the house and comfortable being on his own when we’re out."
Mike says - Rolo was a rather cheeky and energetic puppy making him perfect for his outdoorsy family with three kids in primary school. I'm sure they entertain each other every waking minute and Rolo keeps them in stitches.

Roxy

"Roxy is a huge character, extremely cheeky and funny and also stunning to look at. I just love all the different colours in her coat. For example, her tail has a gorgeous golden/red undertone to it. She is a gift."
Mike says - Roxy was bold and confident and stood her ground with her male siblings, making her a good pair with her owner's older Cockapoo, Frankie.

Coco

"Is anyone else's pup their shadow? Coco is the absolute best dog I could have ever asked for. She does follow me everywhere and is ALWAYS under my feet, but this means that she is an absolute dream to take on walks and let off the lead because her recall is excellent."

Mike Says - Coco chose her family, not the other way around, gravitating to her two primary school aged human sisters at the very first meeting.

From Rolo's Owner
Getting Rolo from Mike and Susan has been one of the best experiences we’ve had with bringing a dog into our family. From the start, they took time to meet and talk with us, check that we were a good fit for Rolo, and walk us through his family history and health checks. That care made a big difference.
Rolo is everything people say about Cockapoos - loving, smart and a real “velcro dog”. He loves being close to us, quickly learns what we ask of him and makes us laugh every day.
Typical Cockapoo alert: he looks absolutely lovely and fluffy right after a groom. Then 24 hours later he’ll be absolutely filthy, having charged into a muddy puddle or river on a woodland walk somewhere around Oxfordshire, following every scent he can find.
They need consistent training and attention at the beginning. The first weeks and months take patience. Rolo came to us already used to a crate and that really helped with his transition. We kept his crate as a safe space and, over time, he moved onto a bed on our landing. He’s now confident and settled with how and where he sleeps (and sometimes I do wake in a morning to find him cheekily snoozing on his back on our bed, especially when my wife is on night shifts!)

Cockapoos need regular grooming. We chose to groom Rolo ourselves, but when he was young, we took him to a groomer to get him used to the process. We keep his coat clipped short compared to most other owners because we’re outdoorsy and he loves water and mud. Regular brushing and basic trims around eyes and hygiene areas make life easier.
For training, gundog basics really helped for us and to satisfy the amount of stimulation he needs to be calm at home. Off-lead walks took time to get right, but patience has paid off. Now his recall and obedience are solid, which makes outings much more relaxing.
Rolo’s temperament reflects the care Mike and Susan put into breeding and socialising him early. He’s non-reactive with other dogs, calm in the house and comfortable being on his own when we’re out. We started with just seconds as a puppy and built up gradually. Now he’s fine alone and even doggy boarding or daycare are all good.
Funny Cockapoo life fact: your socks are no longer just your socks. Rolo has a sock stash somewhere that I’ve never fully uncovered, and I’m pretty sure I go through several more pairs of socks a year than I used to.
We decided to keep Rolo intact for now. That’s a personal call and we spoke with our vet at length about what’s best, but it’s worked well for us so far. The only times he’s shown extra interest is when another intact dog is in season - natural instincts can take over - but we’ve managed that without issue.
Overall, Rolo has been a fantastic addition to our family. We’d recommend Cockapoos to anyone ready for the training and grooming they need (this isn’t our first rodeo so first-time owners be sure this is the right choice for you) but ultimately we’d recommend Mike and Susan to anyone looking for a loving, well-bred pup.
From Alfie's Owner

We had an excellent experience in buying our first puppy from Mike and Susan. Alfie has brought such joy to our home, and I am sure that part of this is due to his start in life.
Caramel, his mum, is a gentle soul and was a very good mummy. Mike was very professional informing us of everything we needed to know and providing all of the legal requirements and paperwork. We had prompt replies to our endless questions, great advice, and regular updates. We could clearly see that Caramel and the puppies were very well cared for. We were very blessed to come across MIke, Susan, Caramel, and most of all our precious Alfie.

From Tobi's Owner
It has been two years since we brought Tobi home, and as first-time dog owners, we remain deeply grateful for the care, integrity, and guidance we received throughout the matching process.
The early months were challenging, as any meaningful adjustment period can be, but the solid foundation of training and preparation made all the difference. Tobi settled beautifully into family life and grew into a calm, confident, and well-balanced dog.
He is exceptionally loving, affectionate, and intuitive. One of the most special things about Tobi is the way he has formed a unique and meaningful bond with each member of our family, responding to individual personalities with warmth and sensitivity. He is also naturally alert and attentive, giving us a sense of reassurance while remaining gentle and easy-going.
Tobi has adapted seamlessly to a variety of environments, from busy city living to peaceful time in the countryside. He is equally comfortable at home as he is on the move and has proven to be a wonderful travel companion, handling new places and routines with ease.We also truly valued the openness and honesty around temperament, health, and potential behavioural considerations.
Everything was communicated clearly and accurately, and we are happy to say that Tobi has continued to thrive as a healthy, happy, and well-adjusted dog.Tobi is not simply a pet — he is a beloved member of our family. We could not have hoped for a better match and are incredibly thankful for the care and thought that went into bringing him into our lives.
